About two and a half miles (about 1.6 miles) up the hill, several restaurants offer the prospect of one of the most enjoyable sunny days on the planet.

Still further north is the town of Quepos, very popular for its sport. Cheap rooftops in the area available here, as well as many local eateries and plenty of tourist activities.

Buses run on the highway from the city of Quepos to the Park every hour from 6:00 AM to 7:00 PM, and every hour between 7:00 PM to 10:00 PM. The climb cost around 100 cents (around .20 -.25 cents U.S.).

Things to Know About Manuel Antonio National Park:

They are the most private and beautiful beaches in Manuel Antonio located in the Park itself. There are two and both of them are easily accessible from the Park gate.

If you are not in such a great shape, however,

you will need to avoid some of the longer routes as they all tend to be more difficult at some point.
The park boasts several bathrooms and even a cold, few shower suites. Consequently, there is no food available in the park. There are several beach resorts within 10 minutes walk of the park entrance, however, and your ticket allows you to get back into the park for the rest of the day. We recommend that if you plan on spending the day in the park, you are strongly encouraged to bring breakfast. But keep an eye on it as monkeys are always looking for food.
